With a mission to carry forward Chinese civilization and lead the development of the cultural industry, Wenxuan actively engages in public welfare endeavors alongside its business growth, promoting nationwide reading and serving the education sector.
The “Love Star Project” – caring for children with disabilities, Wenxuan donated books to Wangcang County Special Education School.
The “Reading Nourishes the Soul, Books Warm the Land” book donation campaign.
The “Light Up a Reading Wish” public welfare initiative has expanded from Sichuan to the whole country, becoming a nationally exemplary reading promotion program.
In June 2016, Wenxuan organized the large-scale public welfare campaign “Reading for All in the Military – Journey to the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, Delivering Books to Military Stations (Second Batch)”, giving birth to the “Wenxuan Military Reading Bar”.
In 2007, donated rural library books to Fengming Town, Pengshan County, Sichuan.
Wenxuan Chengdu Book Purchase Center, in collaboration with the Chengdu Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, hosted a community reading activity.
After the May 12 earthquake in 2008, Wenxuan’s Green Ribbon Campaign delivered books to disaster-affected areas.
